What are you most excited about in 2010?
On a personal level, to get the chance to see S face-to-face.
Career-wise, can't wait for BigMediaCo to become an actual player on the wireless field.
Who did you meet this year who had a big impact on your life? Did you reconnect with any old friends? Who was there for you through it all?
It's weird that I'm drawing a total blank on that question as to finding new people. Come to think of it, I'm been in a relative isolationist mood, especially at work.
Not even the Facebook lurks, which have scored some hits among long-lost uncles and aunts is drawing me.
At least my FRIENDS (Raven, S et al) have always been there and I can't deny the pleasure of my acquaintances on the Voxshpere (Waterbaby, Strive2Be, I'm looking at you!) whose postings and comments always stoke my interests...
What's your best advice on how to deal with the post-holiday blues?
Get back to work, you lazy bum! I kid but the fact that I'm working between Christmas and New Year's is a great cure towards not feeling the blues, If I'm lucky, it just feels like having 2 long week-ends in a row!
How and where are you spending this Christmas Day? Make spirits bright by sharing a photo!
Not much planned except Dinner with me mum. Because family *is* important or so I've been told.
What are you hoping to find under the tree this year?
If I could get some time to myself with some extra sleep, it would be great. Seriously I wouldn't say no to DVDs, CDs, or anything to add to my wii catalogue.
Traveling during the holidays can be chaotic. How will you use technology to ensure the trips you have planned remain stress free?

Seeing that my last 2 years were spent in Bytown, I had downloaded things like bus schedules along with the main routes, so I could manuever into the city. IF, I return this year, it will probably be along the same lines...

Well, PCs were just coming out when I started grade school, so it's easy to think that the increasing presence of the Net is the best (or worst) technolgy breakthrough.
To have access to such a plethora of information would have been a gift... or a curse!
What's your favorite thing about the holidays? Least favorite?
Nowadays, it's no so much meeting with family and friends and the exchange of good wishes. It's the luxury of taking a few days off and being to able to take time to look back at the year that ends.
Least favourite? I guess that it's the fact that I miss the family gatherings on my mother's side. But with the death of my grandfather, it seems no one of my parent's generation felt the need to pick up the torch.
Don't have any concrete plans yet, but there's a chance I *might* drop by Bytown after my post-Christmas work is done. Not to pick up data but just to chill. I guess it will all depends on what develops for New Year's here...
